Check out this video of our natural rock wall transformation. Our clients were looking for a feature that complemented their poolside area. We started with an excavation along the pool, then hand-selected rocks and boulders to build this stunning wall. To complete the look, we backfilled it with soil and planted a mix of boxwoods, evergreens, junipers and euonymus. These plants not only disguise the side of the pool but also bring a variety of leaf textures and shades of color that fit the surrounding landscape perfectly. Boulder rock walls are timeless, while matching their natural surroundings, they add charm and practicality to any landscape!

We love blending functionality with beauty. Here, we built a french drain to manage excess water on the property. After careful excavation, grading, and pipe installation, we covered everything with river rock to mimic a natural, dry riverbed. Alongside the french drain we placed larger boulders and planted perennials to create a lush and pretty look that will blend into the natural landscape. We specifically selected plants that are from Atlantic Canada and are bee and butterfly friendly! This project was such a fun mix of construction and landscape design, combining practicality with aesthetics. French drains are a great solution for waterlogged yards - they are long-lasting, effective, and simple. Who knew they could also be a backdrop for creativity!
